Description
**DISCLAIMER: Appears to only be available on Amazon for $96.80 or the Kit is available for $489** The TARPS provides a quick, unitary assessment of auditory processing skills. It presents various types of tasks designed to show how well a child is able to utilize auditorily-presented information. The tasks encompass reasoning, developing new ideas, drawing inferences, solving problems, and acquiring and organizing knowledge. The TARPS consists of 58 questions that provide a qualitative and quantitative analysis of thinking skills. The questions are read to the student; the answers are recorded verbatim by the examiner. The manual includes the acceptable answers so that the scoring will be unambiguous and objective. The test items were designed to be stimulating – they were not limited only to what the child may have learned in formal schooling environments or in enriched home environments. 5-14 years Norm-Referenced Gardner ATP
