This no-cost training is for parents and caregivers who are interested in learning more about basic toy adaptations for children who have difficulty playing with off-the-shelf toys. In this training you will learn how to create a battery interrupter, how to select the right toys for a battery interrupter, and how to use a switch so your child can activate a toy. You will leave the training with a battery interrupter, a switch, and a toy. Please note that children should only play with their switch adapted toys with parent or caregiver supervision.

Please Note: The Easterseals Arkansas and DESE Office of Special Education is committed to making our events accessible to everyone. If you require accommodations, please contact outreachprogram@eastersealsar.com as soon as possible.
