Free
Description
The MOST is a contemporary examination of respiration, phonation, resonation, and oral sensorimotor skills. Its purpose is to quantitatively and qualitatively identify the presence of absence of the abilities to perform specific oral movement tasks, and to help begin the process of defining the oral sensorimotor skills of various populations. It assesses jaw, lip and tongue function, tactile sensitivity, and selected respiration, phonation, and resonation skills. It helps determine the focus and direction of oral sensory and movement activities in therapy, and can be used to measure pre- and post-therapy skills related to oral sensory and motor function. It can supplement a feeding assessment or an assessment of the integration of sensorimtor skills. Designed for both novice and experienced examiners. It is divided into five subtests, each with its own score: Motor Function, Sensory Function, Respiration and Phonation, Resonance, Oral and Facial Tone. 4’0-7’11+ Descriptive Marshalla Super Duper
