**DISCLAIMER: Update is available** The TWF-2 is a nationally standardized, individually administered tool for the assessment of children’s word finding skills. Three forms are provided: a Preprimary Form for preschool and kindergarten children, a Primary Form for Grades 1-2, and an Intermediate Form for Grades 3 -6. It consists of two components. The first is a standardized assessment of a student’s accuracy and speed when retrieving single words. (Those sections include Picture Naming: Nouns, Verbs, & Categories, Sentence Completion, and Comprehension Check.) The second component consists of supplemental analyses to further probe a student’s word finding abilities.
