Description

**DISCLAIMER: Update is available** The TOSS-I (formerly the ASSET) is a receptive and expressive diagnostic test designed to assess student’s semantic skills. 19 natural, realistic illustrations allow the clinician to survey ten semantic and vocabulary tasks through five receptive subtests and five expressive subtests which involve identifying or stating Labels, Categories, Attributes, Functions, and Definitions. It differs from the TOSS-P in that it uses more curriculum vocabulary and themes and requires more advanced thinking skills, such as abstraction and conclusions. 9-13 years Norm-Referenced Bowers, Huisingh, LoGiudice, and Orman Pro-Ed (LinguiSys)
