Description

The TOSS-P (formerly the ASSET) is a receptive and expressive diagnostic test designed to assess a young child’s semantic and vocabulary abilities. 20 realistic, distraction-free picture scenes allow the child to demonstrate vocabulary and semantic knowledge within a context. Students are asked to identify and name items in a themed picture scene. Receptive and expressive subtests include: Labels, Categories, Attributes, Functions, and Definitions. Accepted Test by Medicaid 4-8’11 years Norm-Referenced Bowers, Huisingh, LoGiudice, and Orman Pro-Ed (LinguiSys)
