Safe listening with the Clevy Hearsafe. Exposure to loud noises is one of the main causes of early hearing loss. The Clevy Hearsafe headphone volume output is limited to 85dB. According to audiologists, this is the safe threshold for regular and long time listening. The 5 ft (1,5m) long cable gives optimal freedom of movement while using the headphones on a non-mobile device, such as a hi-fi set or a computer. This extra long cable has a coiled part, which gives a trigger warning when a kid walks away from the device. -

The Adesso keyboard includes is a wireless keyboard with an 87-key layout and Optical Trackball Sensor - 800DPI. In addition, this loan includes a keyguard with small, round holes fitted for the Adesso keyboard by Keyguard Assistive Technology. The keyguard is 1/4" clear acrylic with an oversized flange which adds an additional rim around the perimeter, extending beyond the keyboard and containing optional holes which you can use to devise your own mounting method. These holes are 0.19" in diameter and fit a #10 machine screw. -

A great way to provide peace of mind, our switch adapted call button allows the user to alert caregivers from over 1,000 feet away. This call button comes with a switch adapted remote and a receiver that plugs directly into a power outlet. It has five volume settings, 60 different songs to pick from, and an LED indicator light. This adapted call button is equipped with a standard 3.5 mm female input jack. This allows you to use it with most standard adaptive (also called accessibility or ability) switches. CoughDrop is a unique communication software that can be used across multiple devices. Evaluation accounts have been created to support AAC teams who are working to determine if CoughDrop is the right fit for an AAC communicator. These accounts function much like a communicator account and can even request access to premium voices if needed. Because the account can be "leant" out to one communicator at a time on a trial basis, the account is programmed to "reset" back to particular default once the trial period is over for that communicator. This means that speech boards and buttons created specifically for one communicator are automatically cleared before the account is assigned to help evaluate a new communicator (although those boards can be copied to the new communicator account if that user moves forward with CoughDrop). Each loanee will be given a unique password upon checking out the app. The app can be used on the loanees' device, or the loanee can check out any device within the loan program that can connect to WiFi. It is imperative that the device is able to connect to WiFi as CoughDrop is a cloud based communication system. -
